Timber mountain bike jump ramp

The project:

I love mountain biking and needed a new jump so I went into Bunnings and got my material's and then I made the jump

- Materials:

90mm treated pine decking

150mm bugle screws

75mm bugle screws

50mm bugle screws

- Tools:

ozito drill, jigsaw, circular saw

- Step 1:

cut the wood in straight lines and get rough angles

- Step 2:

screw the peices together and start to get the curve

- Step 3:

get the distance of which how wide do you want to jump to and sit the two sides roughly that distance apart then place the Centre beam in the centre of the two side sides to hold its place

- Step 4:

place all the rest of the decking on top to make the platform of which you jump off of

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your bike ramp project.

A long time ago my neighbour was doing a bit of re-modelling, and I managed to get some off cuts to build a similar ramp. It was held together with faith and enthusiasm, and we managed to get few seasons out of it before it fell apart. Your ramp looks infinitely much better and is so much more daring in height. I'm sure it will provide endless hours of fun.

In the interest of health and safety, please remember to wear personal protection such as a helmet, gloves and elbow and knee pads.
