The project:

Painted a feature wall in the laundry.

- Materials:

paint

Paint brush/roller

Painters tape

Floating shelves

- Tools:

drill

Spirit level

Stud finder

- Step 1:

wash the walls

Prep with skirting and edges with painters tape

Paint the edges with a paint brush

Roll on the rest of the paint

Wait till all dry

Apply second coat

wait till it drys

Add shelves

What an excellent update to your existing laundry area. It's a great example of how you can transform an area without spending excessively. By adding an eye-catching colour to the wall and some floating shelves, it gives the impression that this laundry area was designed with some features in mind and not just left to its utilitarian finish.
