Hallway makeover using wall trims

The project:

We changed our boring hallway into a gorgeous one! We added trim to all the walls. Then painted it black and white. We absolutely love the change and it wasn't a difficult project. It's amazing what paint can do!

- Materials:

Timber trim for walls

Sellers Glue to stick trim on.

Solver paints. We had a black created for the walls. It's a warm black, rather than a black that is grey, purple or cooler toned.

- Tools:

Makita saw. Bought at bunnings.

Paint brushes from bunnings too.

- Step 1:

Buy your trim.

Measure and cut the trim.

Glue it to your walls

Paint.

What a striking transformation. The wall moulding adds so much character, and the black and white colour scheme gives the hallway a really elegant, timeless look. It just goes to show how much impact some trim and paint can have.
