The project:
Years of accumulated craft supplies, projects and kits, books, course notes, work resources, collections, computer desk and supplies stored and displayed all around house in the loungeroom, bedroom, living room and dusty garage in a mish mash of tubs creating clutter and confusion rather than creativity and joy.
1x spare bedroom.
Everything is organised. The door can be closed. Projects can stay set up and partly completed. Access to a computer allows for online shopping and ideas, DIY videos/project inspiration and multitasking.
Spare space on walls and floors allows for development of ideas and display of future projects.

Note: there are 9 pages of designs of wallpaper and many like this one come in different colours. My local shop didn't have any wallpaper in stock but I was directed to a Sale Table where I found this one. It was not was I had in mind but it worked and I am very happy with the result. After looking at the other wallpapers on line I'm inspired to create a feature wall or part wall.

- Step 1:
- Empty room, measure room and all available shelves and cupboards, desks etc
- Try available shelves etc in the room to see which ones work together along walls.
- Collect all items which require storage and display and
- Collate materials requiring storage into categories so storage space required for each can be assessed.
- Measure space for shelves and cupboards from other spaces including garage.
- Online research including videos for storage solutions for craft materials, books including www.bunnings.com.au
- Online research for materials and costing of project.
- Visit Bunnings for purchases and free boxes at each visit.
- Move furniture around room and measure available storage spaces and containers before storing items for aesthetics, efficiency, practicality.

- Re evaluate use of materials, outcomes of projects,
- Incorporate upcycled and recycled materials as a priority to minimise cost and effect on the environment even if this changed the original plan/s.
- Set up and arrange materials/books/collections into and onto shelves allowing space for future additions.
- Recycle unused ineffective materials by donating to charities including vinnies.com.au

Empty, clean and remove shelves from two second hand cupboards which have been obtained from a second hand market and a council cleanup pile.

Measure, cut and apply wallpaper from Bunnings.com.au to the back of the cupboards. If some or or all shelves can't be removed measure and cut into smaller pieces. For permanent result use pva glue or for future changes secure using double sided tape, blue tack or even sticky velcro.

Sort materials into all available containers and boxes, into cupboards and onto shelves.
Cut unnecessary ends from empty boxes one by one, measure and cut wallpaper and attach using glue or paste.
Arrange materials, collections, books, folders, kits and treasures in boxes, on shelves and in cupboards. Allow space for working and adding more materials and treasures.
Attach hooks to back of door and display/store/hang carry bags and handbags of all shapes and sizes…mostly collected from second hand markets, garage sales, shops and school fairs or handmade by friends and relatives.
