The project:

Second hand flooring laid . Covering up the orange cork boards.

- Materials:

Second hand laminate floor boards.

- Tools:

Hand saw hammer and a block of wood

- Step 1:

Prepared the floor then laid out boards and decided pattern then cut pieces to size and laid flooring.

Hi @finoree,

What a great transformation. The new laminate flooring has really modernised the room, and it's hard to believe it was installed using second-hand boards. It just goes to show what can be achieved with a bit of patience and careful planning.

If you have any before photos or progress shots from the installation, we'd love to see them. I'm sure they'd be helpful for members considering laying laminate flooring themselves.
