The project:
We wanted to upgrade our ensuite as our family was expanding, and we wanted something beautiful to look at when we woke up in the morning. 2 showers is always better than 1, and even better when 1 is at shoulder height so you don't have to wash your hair everyday. The heated towel when you get out, is just bliss.

Beaumont tiles; basalt floor tiles, herringbone marble tiles, white wave splash back, tile glue, grout, silicone, tile sealant.
Kmart; black bin, black toilet brush, toilet roll stacker.
Have A Crack Glass; shower screen and mirror.
- Tools:
Concrete saw, hammer, drill, Jimmy bar, straight edge, pencil, spacers, tile cutter, screwdrivers, heat gun, lights, steps, buckets.
- Step 1:
First we removed all the old fixtures, vanity, mirror, toilet, towel rail and shower. Then pulled up the floor tiles. Took the plaster down where needed and rebuilt the shower wall to make the shower larger. Used a heat gun to remove the old tile glue and then used the concrete saw to create fall for the shower tiles. Plumbing was then altered for to where the new fixtures would go. The plasters then came in to re plaster. Waterproofing then occurred. Our custom made vanity went in, followed by the toilet. The tiler came to work his magic, and boy was that a big job.The electrican came and put in the lights, powerpoints, tastic heater, heated towel rails and exhaust fan. We then primed the plaster with paint followed by 2 coats of paint. The man from Have A Crack glass came and installed the full length mirror and shower screen. The final plumbing works were done with basin and shower fixtures put in place and a chain from the roof for a hanging plant.
