How far apart to place pegs for garden bed?

Hi,

Does anyone have a suggestion on how far apart/how many pegs I should use to create a single sleeper height garden bed?

Plan to use the Jack heavy duty sleeper pegs and 150 x 50 x 3m sleepers

Hi @LachlanC,

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

I'd generally recommend spacing pegs at no more than 1m intervals, with a peg placed at the ends of each sleeper used to bridge between a sleeper and the adjacent one. In practice, this would mean a single 3m long sleeper would be in contact with at least 4 stakes over its full length.
