Backyard transformation for dogs using artificial turf

The project:

we had nothing but a dirt pit filled with weeds. We ripped it all up, put fresh soil down and finished it off with artificial grass and rocks to create an outdoor oasis for our 2 dogs

- Tools:

shovel, wheelbarrow, hammer

- Step 1:

pulled out all the weeds and dug up over 30 buckets of the existing soil.

- Step 2:

once all old soil was removed, weed killer was poured all over remaining soil.

- Step 3:

weed mat placed down and brand new soil (32 bags) spread out evenly

- Step 4:

artificial grass tiles laid down individually and secured with irrigation pins

- Step 5:

once grass was completely laid and secured with pins, we decorated the remaining edges with 13 bags of rocks

You've done a fantastic job turning what was a patch of dirt and weeds into a clean, low-maintenance space for your dogs to enjoy. It looks like a much more practical and inviting backyard now.
