Functional BBQ fire pit with bench seating

The project:

What started out as an unfunctional area. We need a space that be multifunctional with a growing family . The existing space consisted of turf that would not grow, a high maintenance hedge and extremely impractical area. We wanted the new space to home a bbq, fire pit, seating for all ages and an oasis to entertain.

- Step 1:

remove turf, hedge, garden edging and hire excavator to prepare subgrade

- Step 2:

dig holes for footings of seating area and build frame work and weatherproof.

- Step 3:

Install crazy pavers and Ekodeck. Pour footings and slab for block work.
plant helaconia's with weed mat and mulch.

- Step 4:

install block work for bbq and paint block work and walls white

- Step 5:

complete by installing stone, bbq and fire pit. Helaconia's have grown perfectly offering shade for our tropical oasis.

This is a beautifully designed outdoor space that blends style and practicality perfectly. The built-in bench seating makes fantastic use of the area, creating a welcoming spot to gather around the fire pit, while the BBQ station and generous entertaining space make it ideal for hosting family and friends. The combination of the composite seating, white stone, natural stepping stones and lush planting gives the whole area a fresh, modern resort feel. Every element has been thoughtfully planned, resulting in a space that's as inviting as it is functional.
