The project:

due to the house being white I decided to break it up by adding a different color to the front door

- Materials:

ace of spades paint from Bunnings

- Tools:

paint roller and brush from Bunnings

- Step 1:

slightly sanded the door then painted it with 3 Coates of paint

Hi @bel92,

You know what they say, a change is as good as a holiday, and painting the front door has certainly given your home's entrance a fresh new look. The darker colour provides a nice contrast against the white exterior and really helps the front entry stand out.

If you get a chance, it'd be great to hear whether you learnt any lessons along the way or have any advice you'd share with other members thinking about giving their front door a fresh coat of paint.

my only advice I can give is if you want to do something but not sure how it will turn out just doing it anyway because if your not happy with how it is it can always be changed again untill your happy with it

Little tip if your doing an outdoor plant screw the pot down so it can’t be stolen
