Picture rail added to living and bedroom walls

The project:

I purchased an older 1970's style unit, to bring back some of the original charm from its era I decided to add a picture rail through out the entire unit, the living area and the two bedrooms.

- Materials:

Timber Picture rail

Nail gun

Paint

Paintbrush

Masking tape

Spirit Level

- Tools:

Nail gun

Paintbrush

Studfinder

Spirit Level

- Step 1:

Step 1: Using the Stud finder I went around the unit and found the studs and marked out the location

Step 2: Using the Spirit Level I marked between the studs

Step 3: I lined up the timber picture rails and attached to the wall using a nail gun.

Step 4: I filled up any of the nail gun wholes using wood putty.

Step 5: I used sand paper and filled back the rails, I then lined up with masking tape and painted them, doing 2 coats of paints.
