Pink door and bubble wall painting for entryway

The project:

Wife wanted to bring some colour to our entryway

- Materials:

Reclaimed circular mirrors

Selleys Heavy Duty Liquid Nails

- Tools:

Tinted Primer

Paint

Scotch Painter's Tape

- Step 1:

Taped up the wall with the assistance of the mini-me's

- Step 2:

From the recommendation of a very helpful Bunnings member in the paint aisle, we used a tinted primer first. The arch was pre-drawn with a pencil and then painted.

- Step 3:

First and second coat of pink, thanks to the tinted primer meant we only needed 2 coats of paint to achieve our desired results.

- Step 4:

Like the arch, the bubbles were drawn in pencil then painted. After they had dried, the round mirrors were glued to the wall with liquid nails. Wife had more faith than I did in the power of the blu-tack. Mirrors were reclaimed from a facebook group.
