Bedroom makeover with paint and sanded floors

The project:

We bought a house 1 year ago and the master bedroom had yellow paint and jarrah floors with shellac coating. We managed to do a magic makeover by sanging the floors back to the wood and painting the ceiling and walls. But what a difference a paint can make!!!

- Materials:

Floor sander

Wall filler

Ceiling paint - Tubmans brilliant white

Wall paint- Dulux Lexicon quarter

- Tools:

Orbital sander Ozito for walls

Paint roller and brushes Monarch

- Step 1:

Ceiling preparation and then paiting the ceiling

Walls preparation and paiting the walls

Floor preparation and oiling the floors

The transformation is fantastic! Sanding the jarrah floors back to their natural beauty and pairing them with fresh, light walls has completely changed the feel of the room. It now looks bright, welcoming and beautifully showcases the stunning outlook through those large windows. It really proves how thoughtful preparation and the right paint colours can breathe new life into a space.
