Home office and hobby room upgrade using Lugna

The project:

My Office is a mess and needed a storage solution with organisation.

- Materials:

We used the LUGNA Storage Units across a 5 metre wall. Then we engaged an installer to put doors across the front to make the mess tidy.

We also repaired damaged walls using Selly's Spakfilla and painted the walls.

- Tools:

Drill, screwdrivers, paint, rollers and Spak filler, hammer and levelling wedges, circular saw,

files, multitool.

- Step 1:

Engaged nephew to help put this design together.

Research for affordable shelving units DIY - Selected a combination of the LUGNA Shelving units with draws and without.

Put units together and installed across the 5 metre wall.

- Step 2:

Purchased Custompine melamine to create a top shelf and make a TV area with additional shelf.

- Step 3:

Purchase Spakfiller and paint to repair wall (should have done this first, but hey it was easy enough).

- Step 4:

Engaged a third party to install triple sliding doors to finish the look

- Step 5:

Engaged electrician to move wiring and sort out powerpoints for internet connectivity.

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your home office and hobby room upgrade project.

This is a fantastic example of creating a workspace that's both organised and stylish. The LUGNA storage units make great use of the full wall, and the sliding doors give the room a clean, streamlined look while keeping everything neatly tucked away. It's easy to see how much more functional and enjoyable the space would be for both work and hobbies.
