The project:

Updated a very old kitchen, that had very little work space into a functional easy to cook in and easy to clean.

Berry Blue doors and panels

Lady grey benchtop

Silver handles

Paint

- Tools:

Drill

Suare

Paint brushes / rollers

- Step 1:

Measure room

Picked colours (easy)

Talked to Bunnings consultant

Removed old cabinets and appliances

Painted ceiling, walls

Painted old above cabinet in Berry Blue and White

Assembled cabinets, drawers and handles

Put together all cabinetry and benchtop

Installed appliances

Used excess Berry Blue kickboards and fillers as shelving and window sill

The Berry Blue cabinetry really gives the space a fresh, modern feel, and it sounds like you've made some thoughtful improvements to create a much more practical kitchen with extra workspace. I also like that you found a use for the leftover kickboards and filler panels as shelving and a window sill. It's a great way to minimise waste while tying everything together.

Do you happen to have any before photos of the kitchen? I'm sure the community would love to see just how dramatic the transformation was.
