The project:

First was the steel framing made from C channel 75mm x 40mm

Covered inside wall with structare ply and covered with VJ panel

Made steel frame 150mmx 50mmx 2.4mm to place the kaboodle cabinets on, installed them with specrite 2400mmx 600mmx 33mm for bench top and sides of cabinets

Installed sink and taps, painted wall blue and clear epoxy resin to the bench top

Installed Polar aluminium shutters half wall above the BBQ and full size section to fill in side wall

power points 3 doubles one single, TV aerial coaxial cable and internet connection

Built bulkhead above TV wall to cover cable and water pipe entry

Placed heat lamp under couch, and wood stove that was taken out of our old house, restored and erected with complete flue kit purchased from Bunnings

The only extra hand I had was the plumber to connect hot and cold water, im an electrician and done the wiring myself

Now we watch footy, cook great food and enjoy the warmth from the stove and bar heater

- Materials:

Kaboodle cabinets 3 single with draws 1 double door

C channel 75mm x 40mm

150mm x 50mm steel beams

Structure form ply 2400 x 1200 x 19mm

Specrite 2400 x 600 x 30mm

VJ panel 2400mm x 1200mm

150mm x 19mm wood for bulk head

Black sink, black tap ware sink drain pipe

Water Proof outlets, 2.5mm 2C+E cable, coaxial cable

Aluminium shutters, also aluminium angle and flat bar both 40mm, and aluminium 50x 25mm tubing

Paint (blue, white), silicon, poxy resin

BBQ matador 6 burner

Full flu kit for wood stove, bar heater 2400W

Wood screws, metal screws, pop rivets, sand paper

- Tools:

Every tool in my shed, all battery makita hand tools, carpenters, electrician, plumbers, metal fabrication and finishing tools

Circ saw, hamer drill, drill, impac driver, multi tool, welder, hole saws, level, square, straight edge, plies, screwdrivers, hamer, pipe rench, clamps, ladder, tin snips, grinder, pop rivet gun, silicone gun, stanly knife, insulation resistance tester,

- Step 1:

Made wall frame from steel channel

Covered with non structural ply

Connected waste drain to ATU, hole saw through paver and dug under pavers to run waste water pipe under pavers rising into bottom double door cupboard

- Step 2:

Welded steel frame to stand cupboards on

Built and installed cupboards

Covered back wall with VJ panel

Secured bench top and cut out sink and tap entries

- Step 3:

Installed aluminium shutters

Ran power and coaxial cable and connected power points and TV point

Painted VJ panel, and clear poxy resin

- Step 4:

Installed sink and tap

Plumber connected hot and cold water

Built Metador BBQ

- Step 5:

Made frame for wood stove and set up stove in place

Erected fire flu to stove through ceiling, made secure on roof

- Step 6:

Installed bar heater, ran power to power point under ceiling

- Step 7:

Hung TV

Invited friends around, watched footy, cooked BBQ with couple drinks

This is a fantastic example of creating an outdoor space that's as practical as it is inviting. The amount of planning and craftsmanship really stands out, from the custom steel framing and cabinetry through to the neat bulkhead, shutters and beautifully finished benchtops. Every detail has been carefully considered, and it's clear you've built a space that's perfect for relaxing, cooking and spending time with family and friends.
