The project:

DIY, house renovation complete gut and rebuild. Excluding plumbing, electrical and tiling for the bathrooms. New floor, bathroom, kitchen, ceiling, attic room, staircase, laundry and front and back yard over duration 2 years

- Step 1:

Deisgn interior

Complete construction drawings

Engage structural engineer

DA Application

Construction certificate

Engage Private certifier

Obtain owner builder permit

- Step 2:

Council approved DA application

Electrical and plumbing make safe

Demolition

Certified asbestos removal

Carpet removal

Staircase removal

Completely gutt internals

- Step 3:

Structural support install high load props

Fabricate new staircase and support beams and columns

Build concrete support pads as per engineers drawings

Install new structural steel staircase and supports

Rough in all plumbing and electrical work

- Step 4:

Frame out walls and flooring

Install insulation and plasterboard

Set and sand

- Step 5:

Level out floor for new herringbone flooring

Install 5mm rubber underlay

Instal Blackbutt Herringbone flooring

Protect new floor

- Step 6:

Bathroom works undertaken by tiler and plumber

Fit off fixtures and fittings

- Step 7:

Installed kitchen and fit off fittings and fixtures

Installed bulkhead and exhaust duct work

Installed laundry joinery

Install all skirtings and gap filled

- Step 8:

Painting, painting and more painting

- Step 9:

Removal all protection and undertake full clean and dust wipe down

- Step 10:

Final certification check prior to O.C.
