The project:
The yard was wet and slippery most of the time, not enough sunlight for grass growth, I want to be able to access the clothes line without geting dirt on my shoes and build garden beds that growth plants suitable for the area.
Turn the front yard into three garden beds and a sitting area.
- Materials:
pavers, road base, sand and cement mix bag, garden edging, H4 timber, pebbles, weed mat, soil paver sand, plants and stone. Most material purchase from Bunning.
- Tools:
soil compactor, angle grinder, bucket, hand trowel
- Step 1:
Get rid of the grass, level the area, mark out the path area ensure line is straight.
- Step 2:
Use hand trowel to dig a small level trench to fit a paver, mix the water with sad and cement in the bucket, use the hand trowel take enough cement mix in the trench, then put a wet paver on top of the cement, till the area is all done.
- Step 3:
After 24 hours, put road base on top of the soil, then level and use soil compactor compact the area, put weed mat on top of the compact area, add pebbles.
