How to fix Ozito mower cutting out?

Hi ,I'm having issues with my 36v PXCSDMS-018 mower,it runs for about 2 mins then it cuts out ,it restart then do the same ,I've put 2 new battery's in it,made no difference,there no obstructions to the blade ,it spins freely ,I've replaced the key from one out of my mates mower and put mine in his that works in his ,so ruled that out ,that only leaves either the motor it's self or the switch on the handlebar ,I haven't opened that up as yet,I made enquiries at local Bunnings store about availability of spares for these mowers only to be told there is none ,has any one else had this issue,if you have ,how did you fix it ,I had another one of these mowers ,that one melted the key and the wiring in the switch ,I've tryed to find a wiring diagram so can replace the switch see if that fixes it ,other wise it follow my last one into the scrap metal pick up 🤣

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community @richy61. It's great to have you join us, although I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your mower.

It certainly sounds like you've done a thorough job of troubleshooting already by swapping the batteries and safety key and checking that the blade spins freely. Unfortunately, without further testing it's difficult to narrow it down to whether the issue is with the motor, switch assembly or another electrical component.

If the mower is still within its warranty period, I'd encourage you to take it into your local Bunnings store. I'm sure the team would be more than happy to assess it and, if necessary, organise a replacement under warranty.

If it's outside of warranty, our Spare Parts team can certainly contact Ozito on your behalf to check whether the specific part you need, such as the switch assembly or motor, is available. The Spare Parts team can often source components directly from the manufacturer where they're still available.
