Bathroom reno using Dulux Renovation Range paint

The project:

update the bathroom to look modern with new basin and toilet and freshly painted walls and floor

- Materials:

Dulux Renovation Tiles and Benchtops in Satin for the walls

Dulux Renovation for floors in Satin and the Dulux Renovation Primer for walls and floor

Rust-oleum Tub and Tile Refinishing kit for the shower area

- Tools:

4mm nap Microfibre rollers

Masking tape

Various size brushes

- Step 1:

Removed the old shower screen, basin and toilet

- Step 2:

Cleaned the floor and wall tiles of the shower area and applied the Rust-oleum Tub and Tile Refinishing Kit paint in gloss white

- Step 3:

Cleaned the other wall tiles outside of the shower area and primed the tiles with the Dulux renovation range primer and then applied the Dulux renovation range tiles and benchtop paint. Added a new basin and toilet and finished off painting the floor tiles with the Dulux renovation range for floor tiles

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community, it is fantastic to have you with us.

The fresh white finishes have really opened up and brightened the room, and replacing the basin, toilet and shower screen has helped complete the update without changing the bathroom’s layout.

This is a brilliant example of how an older bathroom can be given a cleaner, more modern look without a full demolition and a relatively small amount of work.
