Antique vintage buffet makeover

The project:

A gorgeous antique peice i couldn't resist giving a makeover it caught my heart at first sight. I love every step of its renovation. As u can see the end result is stunning and used it a statement decor peice in my formal living area.

- Materials:

Porters paint

Antique stain

Original antique hinges

And door handles

- Tools:

Srews

Sandpaper

Paintbrushes

- Step 1:

Sand everything down and prep the surface.

- Step 2:

Clean the surface making sure no dust or fragments are left behind

- Step 3:

Prep and Add the base coat colour

- Step 4:

Finish with the desired antique finish.

- Step 5:

Add the desired hinges and handles…done!!

This is another fantastic buffet upcycling project @queendee.

Sanding around those fine details must have taken a huge amount of time and effort, but it was a necessary step to achieve such a fantastic result.

The new colour scheme is quite unique. Do you have any details you can share about how you achieved that look? What stain did you use over the base colour? It is a very interesting finish.
