Study geometric feature wall using timber moulding

The project:

I created this geometric feature wall using timber mouldings, carefully measuring and installing each piece to form a modern, abstract pattern. After filling, sanding and caulking all joints, I painted the entire wall in one colour to highlight the texture and create a seamless, high-end finish. The design adds depth and visual interest while complementing the room's homemade timber furniture transforming a plain wall into a stylish focal point.

- Materials:

Primed timber moulding 1111mm x 3131mm

Bead nails

Caulk

Paint

- Tools:

Bead nail gun

Handsaw and mitre box

caulking gun

Paint brushes and small roller

- Step 1:

I measured and marked the design on the wall before cutting the timber mouldings to size using a hand saw. The mouldings were fixed in place using brad nails. Nail holes and gaps were then filled, sanded smooth, and caulked to create a seamless finish. The entire wall was painted in one colour.

You've done an exceptional job with your geometric feature wall. Getting all of those angles to line up well and cutting all the timber to fit together nicely is no small task and you've done an absolutely fantastic job of it.
