The project:
We transformed the exterior of our corner-block home by replacing the old cream garage door with a new Colourbond Basalt Grey garage door and refreshing the front gate in Dulux Frontier Green. To complete the makeover, we painted the existing brown fence and retaining wall in Dulux Weathershield Exterior Black across both street-facing frontages.
The combination of Basalt Grey, Frontier Green and Black has given the property a modern, contemporary look while creating a cohesive finish from every angle. The project significantly improved the home's street appeal and updated its overall appearance.

Step 1
Plan the colour scheme and select finishes to modernise the home's exterior.
Step 2
Remove the existing cream garage door and prepare the opening for installation.
Step 3
Install the new Colorbond Basalt Grey garage door.
Step 4
Prepare the front gate by cleaning and sanding the surface.
Step 5
Paint the front gate in Dulux Frontier Green.
Step 6
Clean and prepare the existing brown fence and retaining wall along both street-facing frontages.
Step 7
Repair and sand any areas requiring attention before painting.
Step 8
Apply the first coat of Dulux Weathershield Exterior Black to the fence and retaining wall.
Step 9
Apply a second coat to achieve an even, durable finish.
Step 10
Complete final touch-ups and clean the site to reveal the finished contemporary exterior transformation.
