The project:
When I moved into my house 5 years ago there was a small laundry within the linen cupboard. After renovating a space for my new laundry I revamped my linen cupboard in a paint transformation. I create a wallpaper effect using stencils and Bunnings paint sample pots, added some floor tiling with left over bathroom tiles and had new doors made incorporating a scalloped edge using wooden coasters. I painted the doors with a primer and top coated with a water based enamel paint. There was an open storage space above the door, so had a matching lift up door made. Flower handles were added and are still awaiting their final paint.

- Step 1:
Demo on the old laundry. Striping off the old tiles, filled in holes and prepped walls for painting.
- Step 2:
Primed walls with British Paints 4in1.
Marked up stripes using a ruler and masking tape.
Painted stripes with sample pots.
- Step 3:
Created a stencil using a Cricut machine.
Used a finger sponges to paint on stencils.
- Step 4:
Primed doors with 4in1 primer.
Painted on top coated using the colour ‘Spiced Butternut’ in were based enamel paint.
