- Step 1:
Constrction of slid block retaining wall to support paving edge along curved section .. Also installation of stormwater strip grates into back edges of garden along fence for removal of excess rainwater ...
- Step 2:
Bamboo panels attached to back of picket fence and stengthened with extra bearers.. Then painted using Dulux Weather Shield .. colour Wallaby
- Step 3:
An excavation for concrete base was completed ... Calculations for finished height of water feature undertaken ... Concrete mixed .. placed and screeded ... then cured before placement of preformed pond liner ... and plastic grate panels ...
- Step 4:
After fitting of sealed plumbing connections into base of four feature ceramic pots ... a waterproof membrane was painted onto inside of pots ... After curing … a clear Rust-0leum gloss protection coating was applied to outside of each ceramic pot ...
- Step 5:
Using the Diamond Grit hole saws .. access holes were cut in concrete pavers used to form base under four ceramic pots .. later plumbing hoses connecting pumps and pots were connected through holes cut in pavers ...
- Step 6:
Next Diamond Grit hole saws were used to cut holes in concrete slabs for forming stepping stone fountain … along with hole for concealed water line from pumps to top of fountain ... After completion of holes in pavers ... The patio roof was raised and all cut pavers were placed in-situ over top of patio support pole ...
- Step 7:
To complete concealment of patio support pole in final design ... A bamboo tube was split into to halves then hollowed to fit around patio support pole .. Two small ceramic pots were also cut through eacb base with hole saw and attached to fitted bamboo pole ... Finally two clumps of air fern were attached via hooks around top of bamboo pole .. The end result blends into the overall garden vista .. The patio pole continues its support role without being visible in the final garden display

Connection of all plumbing lines from pumps to ceramic pots and fountain is completed via control box valves … The control box is installed below ground and adjacent to below ground pool liner .. Mains water supply is controlled via a float valve .. and set height .. in the event of system failure .. an overflow line is connected into storm water outlet line ...

Water pumps operate as 12 volt via underground conduited cables that connect to 240volt transformers installed in control cabinet adjacent rear wall of alfresco area ...
When in operation water from pumps enters each pot via line through base ... An extension discharges water at surface level for bubbler or daisy spray effect ... Stepping Stones fountain discharges water from below top paver ... then flows over lower paver to drop into larger ceramic pot ... All pots then overflow and water cascades over ripples of outer face of ceramic pots ...
Remote lighting in each pot can be activated by remote to create lighting effects for night show ...
- Step 10:
Plant selection to considerable time to navigate balance of heights .. leaf textures and colours ... Golden Cane palms along fence line are more mature ... and will provide protection for garden during summer afternoon sunshine ... Polished black smooth stones enhance the ground cover effect along with architectual contrast of Black Modo grasses planted in pots along edge of paving ...
Overall the original design vision has been achieved ... and everyone has been able to celebrate a great project completion .. along with all other features around the home property ...
