I transformed the original 1980s kitchen into a sleek, modern white space to create a more practical, functional, and welcoming heart of the home. The outdated layout felt closed in, lacked storage, and did not suit today's lifestyle. By opening the space and incorporating a contemporary design, the kitchen now provides better flow, increased natural light, and improved functionality for cooking, entertaining, and everyday family living. The clean white finishes create a timeless, fresh appearance that enhances the sense of space while remaining easy to maintain. The result is a bright, inviting kitchen that combines style, comfort, and practicality for years to come.

Here is a clear 10-step project summary suitable for a renovation portfolio, demonstration, or presentation:
- Planning and Design – Measured the existing kitchen, developed a new layout with the help of Bunnings kitchen designer then selected a modern white Kaboodle kitchen design to maximise storage, workflow and functionality.
- Removal of Existing Kitchen – Trade Pro that work in conjunction with Bunnings to provide a smooth transition from old to new kitchen and removed the original 1980s cabinetry, benchtops, splashback and appliances.
- Site Preparation – Repaired and prepared walls, flooring and services, ensuring plumbing and electrical connections were ready for the new installation, all communications and updates provided by Trade Pro
- Qualified Plaster to complete kitchen plastering
- Cabinet Assembly and Installation – Trade pro assembled Kaboodle cabinets, drawers and pantry units according to the manufacturer's specifications and in conjunction with me including adding and changing cabinetry.
- Benchtop and Splashback Installation – Measured, cut and installed splashback tiles to complete the workspace which was done by qualified tile installers supplied by Trade Pro
- Sink and Appliance Installation – Installed the sink, mixer tap, cooktop, oven, rangehood, dishwasher and other appliances, with licensed trades completing plumbing and electrical connections where required by qualified tradesman.
- Finishing Details – Trade Pro fitted cabinet doors, soft-close drawers, handles, kickboards, end panels and trim pieces, making final adjustments for smooth operation.
- Quality Inspection and Testing – Checked cabinet alignment, drawer operation, appliance functionality, plumbing, electrical fittings and overall workmanship to ensure everything operated correctly.
- Project Completion – Completed a thorough clean, removed all construction waste into skip bin, presented a bright, modern, practical and welcoming kitchen with significantly improved storage, functionality and visual appeal.
