The project:
Update 3 door back to back wardrobe that separated 2 bedrooms so that it became a more usaable storage.
The wardrobe was totally removed to reveal a clean space. An 'L' shape Configuration for a walk-in storage, but also considered that the out sliding doors would need to be replaced with a wall for shelving fixtures.
A fixed wall needs bracing, so it was decided to leave the bracing exposed so that the sliding doors could still be used.

Walls & Ceiling Sugar Soap, Dulux Cement and Timber Primer. Dulux Wall paint (from previous
job). 8 Edging 41 x 8mm 2.7 (fill gaps between walls, ceiling and floor)
Bracing: 4 Pine Structural MGP 10 Red H2 70 35mm 3.6metres
Fixture: 4 Flexi Storage Shelf Wall Strips Single Slot 2500mm
42 Flexi Storage Shelf Brackets Single Slot 350mm
Shelves 13 Flexi Storage Wire Shelf 1225 x 355

Flooring: 3 Packs Eva Foam Floor Mats 0.5 x0.5

Removal of old wardrobe Hammers, step ladders, wheelbarrow, good ventilation
Transport: Hired Bunning’s Ute to take discarded wardrobe to tip and to
transport Pine Bracing
Cleaning buckets, brushes, Vacuum cleaner fans
Preparation Drop Sheet, plastic bag to paint roller , brushes cover and tray for
easy clean up, putty.
Edging & Bracing fixtures Saw, Battery operated drill, screws (masonry & timber)screw driver/ drill bits
Flooring Stanley knife to cut mats to size and around bracing
- Step 1:
Wardrobe doors removed from oneside for easy removal of wardrobe
- Step 2:
Inner space painted, edging applied to gaps between walls, ceiling and floors.
- Step 3:
Flexi Storeage Wall Strips applied to walls and bracing for Flexi Storage Wall Strips erected. Edging completed. Flooring commenced under shelving.
