The project:
Suffered hail damage which striped paint from our roof tiles. We decided to paint the entire roof ourselves using Bunnings products. We completed the project over a 3-month period due to weather conditions.
The staff at Bunnings Grafton advised on the best approach to tackling this massive project. We purchased all our products from our local store and completed the DIY roof painting job.

- Step 1:
- Talk to Grafton Bunnings staff in the paint section to work out what we needed. We showed the staff this picture of the roof and what we wanted to accomplish.
- Step 2:
- Purchased the Dulux weathershield exterior paint and spray gun.
- Step 3:
Prepared the roof by using the Ryobi Cordless Blow vac to remove debris on the outside roof, which included cleaning gutters and using a household broom to clean the roof tiles.

Mixed the paint with water for use with the spray gun
- Step 5:

Over a number of weeks we completed the whole of house exterior roof and shed. This involved numerious trips to Bunnings to purchase additional paint supplies.
