Kaboodle kitchen renovation adding bench space

The project:

We updated our tired and dated kitchen to create a user friendly environment with more bench space. We also added some under bench top lighting to create a brighter space to work in. We changed the lay out to remove the high bench and make the area more open. We brought the dishwasher out of the laundry so that it was closer to the drawers where the utensils and crockery are stored.

- Step 1:

1. remove old kitchen
2. remove slate floor tiles using the full bore concrete grinder
3. rendered the walls
4. electrician installed first fix
5. assembled kaboodle cabinets
6. installed kaboodle cabinets and bench top
7. second fix electrician and plumbing
8. tiling
9. installed home made bulk heads built from pine and gyprock
10. painted

What a beautiful transformation! Opening up the layout has completely changed the feel of the space, making it bright, spacious and so much more inviting. The crisp white cabinetry, warm timber benchtops and soft lighting work together perfectly, while the thoughtful layout changes have made the kitchen even more practical for everyday living. It's clear a lot of planning went into this renovation, and the finished result is both stylish and highly functional.
