The project:

We transformed our bathrooms, kitchen and toilet to give our home a timeless Hampton-style look that’s brighter, more welcoming and better suited to our family. Doing the renovations ourselves made the project even more rewarding. Bunnings was our one-stop shop for the tools, materials and advice we needed, including power tools, tile adhesive, grout, silicone, paint, timber, fixings and other renovation essentials. Every completed room reflects the pride we take in our home, and the confidence that comes from creating it with products and support from Bunnings.

- Step 1:

1. Planned and measured the bathroom layout, then gathered all the tools and materials from Bunnings.
2. Removed the old vanity, shower, toilet, tiles and fittings.
3. Prepared and cleaned all wall and floor surfaces ready for renovation.
4. Leveled the shower floor to achieve the correct fall to the drain.
5. Applied waterproofing membrane to the shower and other wet areas.
6. Laid and cut the new floor and wall tiles, ensuring they were level and evenly spaced.
7. Grouted the tiles and sealed all joints with silicone for a watertight finish.
8. Installed the frameless glass shower screen and new bathroom fixtures.
9. Fitted the new vanity, toilet, tapware, mirrors and accessories.
10. Completed the finishing touches, cleaned the room thoroughly and admired the transformation into a bright Hampton-style bathroom.

What a beautiful transformation. Carrying the Hamptons-inspired style through the bathroom, kitchen and toilet has created a bright, cohesive feel throughout the home. The VJ panelling, light colour palette and timeless finishes all work together wonderfully.
