Colorbond fence paint makeover with screening panels

The project:

We wanted a bit more privacy so we painted the existing colourbond fence with dulux monument..built a new structure and used panels to fill in. We then framed the structure with hardwood and sealed for protection. All products used were purchased from bunnings..We love the result 👏

- Materials:

Quick set cement..hard wood posts, dulux monument exterior paint, jacksmatrix decor screens,screws,paint,plants,mulch.

- Tools:

Circular Saw,shovel,tape measure, clamps, drill,screws,level.ladder,paint brushes.

- Step 1:

1.Painted existing colarbond fence with solarguard,Dug hole 600mm into the soil

2.Insert hard wood posts and mixed concrete and use level to check angle

3. Attached 2 cross beams, and painted timber with dulux solarguardmonument

4.Screwed on decor screen

5. Framed top edging with hardwood

6.Planted with hydrangers and crepe mertle..applied barkchip to finish

What a great transformation. Painting the existing Colorbond fence and adding the decorative screening has created a much more private and inviting outdoor space, while the hardwood framing gives the whole project a polished, high-end finish. The new planting ties everything together beautifully.
