Small coastal-style ensuite renovation

The project:

World’s Tiniest Ensuite – 0.9 × 2.25m

From an unusable 44-year-old bathroom to a luxury coastal-inspired ensuite, this tiny space proves size doesn’t limit great design. With leaking fixtures, non-functioning taps, an incomplete shower screen and a poorly designed shower, it was ready for a complete transformation. By incorporating an in-wall toilet cistern, we created enough room for a compact vanity without relocating the existing waste plumbing—a huge win. Every detail was carefully planned and completed as a DIY renovation, turning one of the smallest ensuites into a functional, beautiful retreat.

What an incredible transformation. Making such efficient use of a compact space is no easy feat, but the in-wall cistern, floating vanity and coastal-inspired finishes have created an ensuite that feels much larger than its footprint. The finished result looks both stylish and highly functional.
