The project:
My 2 year old son's room started super plain, so we gave it a glow-up with soft sage green stripes to add some character and warmth. Using Bunnings paint, we created a cosy, calming space that still feels fun and playful for a kid. It’s now one of our favourite rooms in the house—simple, affordable, but full of personality. A total transformation that proves paint can completely change the vibe.

- Step 1:
At first we didn't know what would be the most effective way to paint the vj panelling so we started with painters tape, did a base colour of the white and then went over with mist green by Dulux
- Step 2:
However, we changed my technique to freehand after a while as we were getting a lot of bleeding as the tape wouldn't stick inside the grooves of the vj board.
- Step 3:
2 coats of mist green and we were done!
