Mosaic tile bathroom renovation

The project:

Bathroom renovation inspired by our Spanish holiday, with our own twist! We set out to future-proof our only bathroom at home: no more bathtub for safer access, grab rails for ageing family and friends who visit, and underfloor heating. We sourced many 10cmx10cm wall tiles in various colours from several Bunnings outlets spanning central Victoria to the northern suburbs of Melbourne. Demolition to completion took four months. The shower alone comprises 1,750 tiles, cut at specific angles which were calculated to fit the arc of each circle. Our labour of love! Thanks, Bunnings!

This bathroom renovation is absolutely extraordinary! The colourful tiled feature wall is a true work of art and instantly fills the space with warmth, personality and joy. It's incredible to think about the care and precision that went into placing every one of those tiles, and the finished result is a wonderful reflection of your Spanish holiday inspiration with a style that's uniquely your own. I also love that you've thoughtfully designed the space with accessibility and comfort in mind, making it as practical as it is beautiful.

Thank you for sharing the assembly photos as well, they really highlight the craftsmanship and dedication behind every stage of the build. This truly is a labour of love, and the finished bathroom is a spectacular achievement that you should both be incredibly proud of.
