- Step 1:
Clear the area intended for the fire pit by trimming the grass and weeds to ground level using a Whipper Snipper and shovel
- Step 2:
Using a concrete screed or straight edge, level the area of the fire pit.
- Step 3:
Mark the perimeter and using an edger, cut a narrow trench in the shape of the fire pit area.
- Step 4:
Install the edging, join together with joining pins provided. Ensure 50mm protrudes above ground level. Infill the trench with soil and compact down.
- Step 5:
Lay the weed mat over the entire area and trim to fit. Pin down with irrigation pins. place fire pitin location and trim weed matting away from this area to leave bare ground.
- Step 6:
Remove the fire pit and fill the area with chosen stones to a depth of 50mm.
