How to build a planter ledge for a sunroom?

Question

We are having our sunroom re-built and with 4 large windows, we would love to build a planter ledge accross the entire window area, well 2 windows and then two. There will be a fireplace in between the two windows.  I have attached a picture, please excuse as it is a long way from being finished. But you can get the idea of what I need along the windows!

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about building a planter ledge.

I propose looking at using

. It can be cut in half and attached just under your windows and fixed in place using angle brackets. I then suggest looking at

to put your plants in. Its easy mobile nature will allow you to swap plants during the season by bringing the entire pot outside or into your green house. My best suggestion is to add a tray at the bottom to catch any stray water that may drip from the pot.
