I'm using the opportunity of bathroom floor tile replacement to also replace the old toilets in two bathrooms. I prefer the modern back-to-wall toilets, preferably concealing all connections and hoses. However, I do not want to do new plumbing – I want to reuse existing water inlets for the WC.
Questions:
- For a back-to-wall toilet installation with the water inlet at the bottom right of the water cistern, can the stop valve (mini cistern stop) be fully concealed within the body of the toilet seat?
2. Which back-to-wall toilet model at Bunnings will be most compatible with these two toilets?
I have attached photos after removal of toilets, as well as before removal. The WC water supply for the older toilet is coming out of the floor (and is pretty ugly), and the water supply for the newer toilet is coming out of the wall. Both have stop valves (water shut-off valves.)
