Hi, Can I use Sika Acrylic Gap Filler to fill gaps between pickets and rails for a picket fence? It says "for interiors" but this is what was suggested to me in store. If not, what type of product should I get please? It will be painted over.

Fences are not built with materials that are dried and perfectly stable like the materials, so they can and will expand and contract with changing weather conditions. They are also subject to movement from wind. In my experience, there is no real point trying to fill gaps in a fence with filler as over time the filler will just fall out. It is a whole lot of work, for not a lot of benefit.
Do you have any photos you can provide of the fence?
There may be another solution, such as lapped palings or timber trims that would be more suitable.

Here are some photos of the gaps between pickets and rails and posts and rails. Some people have suggested that water will drip into the gaps and deteriorate the timber. Should I fill these gaps please?

Thank you for sharing photos of your picket fence. The timber used for your fence is chemically treated and has a rating of H3. H3 treated timber is timber treated to resist termites, insects and moderate decay. It is designed for outdoor, above-ground applications where the timber may be exposed to weather and occasional moisture, such as decking, external framing, stairs, fencing and landscaping structures.
As Jacob has mentioned the timber structure can and will expand and contract with changing weather conditions. Making the application of silicone sealers impractical as they will come off. They are also subject to movement from wind. Sealing the gaps could in fact trap the moisture in the gaps and cause damage. Whereas if left open the moisture will evaporate.
As a general guide, H3 treated timber can last around 15 to 20+ years when correctly installed and maintained. Its lifespan depends heavily on drainage, ventilation, climate and whether cut ends are properly resealed.
My best advice would be to leave the gaps open to allow moisture to drain and evaporate away.
