How to oil or stain vintage dresser?

What oil or product could make this dresser look nicer, not looking for an entire restoration as I am not physically able at this time. Would like to use something that wouldn’t prevent further restoration in future. The wood is just quite dry and spotty.

For a simple refresh without sanding or stripping, I suggest trying Feast Watson Surface Restore. It contains a combination of waxes and oils designed to rejuvenate tired, worn coated timber surfaces, so it should help reduce the dry, patchy appearance and bring back some sheen.

Start by cleaning the dresser thoroughly and test the product on a small, inconspicuous area to check the colour and finish. Apply it in the direction of the grain according to the instructions, then wipe away any excess and buff it once dry.

This will give you a nice refresh without the need for a heap of sanding or stripping.
