How can we fix a timber floor damaged like this? Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

Thank you for sharing those photos of your floor. It appears that the damage to your floor is too severe and can no longer be repaired with a patch or touch up. I suggest sanding your floor back to timber and resealing the surface with a new sealer.

However, if you are not yet ready for a full floor revamp, it is possible to sand just the bare sections and covering it with a sealer. Please note however that there will be differences in the finish and it will stand out. But the timber floor will remain protected from moisture damage.
