Garden arbour using leftover timber

The project:

New garden arbour made from leftover timber and paint from our recent verandah build.

I’ve planted 2 new roses to grow over it and a gorgeous standard rose which I planted in the middle, all bought from Bunnings.
Now we are just waiting for the weather to clear so we can lay the slab for a very special seat looking up at the house.

- Materials:

Left over timber and paint from our verandah renovation

- Step 1:

Leveled off the area.
Cut timbers (we built it to the dimensions of timber we had left)
Painted

Put in posts and then top.

Filled in bottom frame with fill ready for slab

Thank you for sharing your garden arbour project.

What a beautiful addition to the garden! The arbour looks fantastic, and it’s even more special knowing it was made using leftover materials from your verandah build. The roses will look absolutely gorgeous climbing over the white timber as they mature.

That future seat beneath the arbour sounds like the perfect spot to sit back, enjoy the roses and admire the view up towards the house. Can’t wait to see it once everything is established!
