I suggest having a quick look at this guide - How to spray paint a tap by @lifestylebymari. I've had a thorough search for the copper paint, but none of them produce the brushed finish you are after.

I propose doing a test spray on some metallic object (beer cap) to see what kind of finish you'll be getting.

@EricL Thank you. Just wondering, when using these spray paints on tapware, are they safe in terms of contact with water also how long does it last?
That is an excellent question, the metallic paints I've mentioned are often used for decorative purposes and are not meant for rough everyday use. There is a high probability that they will rub/peel off in the course of long-term use. Having a metallic surface or finish odds are water will bead off, but it is difficult to tell how long they will last or perform in a heavy moisture environment. I honestly can't give you a time frame on how long they will last when used on a tap fixing. I suspect that you'll need to touch up the finish as parts of the paint fade or peel off.
