Hi just wondering if anyone has used Hardie screws in a Strong Tie attachment

The information on the https://www.bunnings.com.au/simpson-strong-tie-project-pro-collated-screwdriver-attachment_p0694078?store=7212&gclsrc=aw.ds&gad_source=1&gad_campaignid=21122993677&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIyJmOleWhlgMVl5FmAh1UXj2nEAQYASABEgKn9vD_BwE states that it is compatible with Simpson Strong-Tie WSV & DSV series screws. While I can't find anywhere where it explicitly states other collated screws can't be used, I note that the Simpson Strong-Tie collated screws have the plastic strip much lower down the screw than standard collated screws do. I suspect this would make them incompatible, but I will have to reach out to Simpson Strong-Tie when they reopen on Monday to confirm.
I am however confident that the Hardie collated screws are compatible with collated screw guns such as the https://www.bunnings.com.au/ryobi-18v-one-brushless-collated-screwdriver-r18csdbl0-tool-only_p0740495 or the https://www.bunnings.com.au/dewalt-18v-xr-brushless-collated-screw-gun-skin-only_p0303649 .

Unfortunately, the team at Simpson Strong-Tie have confirmed, as I suspected, that the Hardie collated screws would not be compatible with their autofeed screwguns. They use their own proprietary system which is only compatible with their screws.
As mentioned, if you would like to use the Hardie collated screws, you would need to use one of the collated screw guns I mentioned above, or another alternative which uses the same autofeed system.
