How to install cabinetry above rangehood?

I’m currently renovating my kitchen and doing most of it myself, except where licensed trades are required.

I’m planning to install this type of rangehood and was wondering if anyone could share some photos or links to the type of cabinet I would need above the cooktop to accommodate this rangehood?

The first thing to do would be review the installation instructions for your product and look at the cutout size and the dimensions of the unit as well as any clearance considerations that need to be factored in. If you cannot readily find this information, I'd suggest the best course of action is to contact the manufacturer for their guidance with selecting an appropriate cabinet, factoring in any clearance requirements.

Based on the manufacturer's recommendations, you would then need to select a wall mounted cabinet that is large enough to accommodate your rangehood, keeping in mind that the measurements on cabinets are usually given based on the outside dimensions of the cabinet, not the inside, so the thickness of the walls need to be compared to the cutout dimensions.

As your rangehood is not one of our products, the best course of action might be to contact the manufacturer to get some guidance about the size of cabinet required. With the measurements, I can then recommend a suitably wall mounted cabinet based on their recommendation.
