How to install artificial turf over existing lawn?

Hi there we have a backarea which we want to convert from lawn to Artificial turf, DIY.

I have little knowledge what to do and what to buy so hoping you can give me information and recommended products to make this happen.

The area is about 10m x 3 m

We have to dig out the existing lawn, want to know from scratch step by step guide how to do?

Thank you for sharing your question about installing artificial turf. I suggest having a quick look at this guide - How To Lay Synthetic Turf this will show you the basic steps you need to take in order to prepare the area for the installation of the artificial turf. Some of the basic steps include levelling the soil surface and removing any large stones or rocks, spread a layer of crushed rock or gravel and compact the surface. It is then followed by crusher dust levelled and compacted as well. My best advice is to double check the size of the area to make sure you get enough artificial turf for the area.
