Sliding door won't open or close properly, what do I need to do to fix this

Welcome to the Bunnings Workshop community. It's sensational to have you join us, and thanks for sharing your question about your cavity sliding door.
Some of the possible causes of your door not opening or closing properly are the plastic roller wheels, they may have worn out. This will lower the doors position and cause it to drag on the floor. Next is the hanging posts which are connected to the door itself. Poor position of the door on the hanging post will cause it to get stuck or drag itself on the floor guide. The third possibility is that something got stuck behind the door like a piece of clothing or an object that got dragged into the cavity.
I suggest checking the doors position, is it sitting on the floor? If it is, this tells us that either the roller wheels have worn out or the position of the door on the hanging post has gone down. If you look at the roller assembly, you should be able to tell if the door has a quick release mechanism or you need to loosen a fixing nut that will release the door from the steel post. Please note that you'll need to release both posts in order to get the door out.
Once the door has been removed you can check the status of the roller wheels. Does the roller set mechanism still slide smoothly? Is there anything that is catching on it while you are rolling it on the rail? If the wheels need replacing, please bring your roller set to the store to make sure you get same type of wheels for your roller set.
Before you re-install your door, please check that the mounting plate on the door is still secure and has not pulled out. This would also be a good time to make sure that nothing got dragged into the space of the cavity sliding door space. My best advice is to get a second pair of hands to help you hold the door while you are reconnecting it back onto the roller assembly post.
