How to extend Colorbond fencing?

we have an existing colourbond fencing and would like to add extension fence. what products do you have to do this? what do i need.

The Matrix fence extension system currently does not have a cream-coloured panel and only comes in 2400 and 1800. However, if you have a second look at the - MATRIX Fence Extension guide, you'll see that the extension sets slot into one another with no need to trim the panel. The only trimming that will occur is at the very end of the extension should an unusual gap remain after installing the extension.

The materials you'll need will be:

* Matrix 2400 x 600mm Charcoal Rainforest Fence Extension (as an example) 
* Jack Matrix 20 x 20 x 1000mm Charcoal Fence Extension Leg 
* Buildex 12G x 45mm Class 3 Sheet Metal Screws - 50 Pack (to screw into the Colorbond post)

Please make sure to check the depth of the screw so as not to drill through the neighbour's side of the fence. The extension posts can only be mounted to the post of the Colorbond fence and not through the sheeting panels.

Please remember to wear personal protection such as gloves and goggles when working on your project.

Hi, thank you for your response,

The extension is to increase the height from 1.8m to a higher finish. So i am after a height extension. The panels are 2350mm wide, however looking at the matrix system it does not have 2350, however they have 2400mm. Also the colour we have is a cream colorbond colour. Do they sell cream colours to match.  Also the 3rd question is what post and cross post does one useto attach the matrix to the existing colrbond fence

Can you advise whether you are looking to extend the fence upwards in height? Or laterally?

If you wanted to extend the fence upwards, I'd suggest checking out @ProjectPete's guide on How to add an extension to a Colorbond fence, which gives details of the process. The subsequent discussion also recommends the parts required, although some of them are custom and would require you to cut them yourself.

If you are looking to extend the fence laterally, could you upload some photos of the space you are looking to extend your fence to?

The general products you would need are posts, concrete, fencing panels, rails, post caps and screws, but the required products really depend on the situation.

Let me know if you need a hand with uploading photos. Any additional details you can add will also help.
