What fixings for Arlec sensor light on brick?

Question

I have purchased thia Arlec sensor light and am looking to mount on my brick pillar. There is no fixings included with this item... can anyone provide information around what size fixings to use for this?

The holes in the mounting plate are quite small.

Hi @amySA,

I do apologise for the inconvenience caused. I would suggest returning the unit to the store and having it swapped for a kit that includes the fixings. Given the sliding function, the fixings that should be provided in the kit must be used. Alternatively, with the unit in hand a team member at the store should be able to verify what type of screw would suit and not obstruct the sliding function. That might in fact be a countersunk screw, instead of a button head.

I have purchased the attached items... the button head screw is still too bulky for the unit to slide over and it gets caught, resulting in the inability to mount.

Should I be looking for another screw or should I return item to obtain one with included fixings?
