trying to get advice about how I can connect ag line to my stormwater and what the best connector should be used? I’ve heard of the smart -t junctions that can be solvent welded and using a hole saw bit. Is this the best approach?

Please note that plumbing work needs to be completed by a licensed professional for safety and compliance.
It's great that you have prepared the area for modification, however, any changes that involve moving or reconfiguring pipework, especially connecting to the storm water section would be considered regulated plumbing work and would need to be carried out by a licensed plumber. I recommend engaging the services of a licensed plumber to connect your agi line to your PVC strom water line.
The store does carry PVC "T" junctions and pipe glue, but it would be best to speak to your plumber before you make any purchase.
