Outdoor kitchen using black acoustic paneling

The project:

We closed in one side of our verandah with weather boards and black acoustic paneling from Bunnings. We used a window as splashback so not to loose the vie of the vineyards.

Purchased our pinnacle stainless steel tool trolly to use as kitchen cabinet. We then purchased a jumbuck gas pizza oven, jumbuck delta 2 portable hotplate and makita 18v Bluetooth radio, all from Bunnings.

- Step 1:

External wass in weather board cladding.

- Step 2:

Internal wall black acoustic paneling

- Step 3:

Assemble pinnacle stainless steel tool trolly.

- Step 4:

Put bbq and pizza oven in place.

This is a fantastic transformation of the veranda. The black acoustic panelling gives the outdoor kitchen a really smart, contemporary finish, while using the window as the splashback was a clever way to keep those beautiful vineyard views as part of the space. The stainless-steel tool trolley works surprisingly well as outdoor kitchen cabinetry too, especially alongside the pizza oven and hotplate. It looks practical, welcoming and full of character, a great spot for cooking, entertaining and simply enjoying the view.
